Do you remember Miles Beckner? He lived north of Wright and went to school in Cromwell for several years. Well, I would like to find out his address as I have been asked to get it for one of his classmates. If you know his address, please call me, or send it to me. Thanks, it will really be appreciated.
There will be an 80th Birthday Party for Shirley Walli on Sunday, February 12th at the Bethlehem Lutheran Church in Wright from Noon to 3 PM. Everyone is welcome to attend and is being put on by her family.
Jason and Cindy Line of North Carolina are the proud parents of their first child, a son, Jack Vincent. He was born on January 26th and weighted in at 7 pounds, 2 oz. His proud grandparents are Lawrence and Maxine Line of Wright.

George Hemmila wishes to thank everyone who remembered him with cards, flowers, gifts, phone calls, visits, help, prayers and well wishes while he was in the hospitals and recuperating at home. Your kindness and concern will always be remembered and appreciated.
The ladies of Bethlehem Lutheran Church in Wright are asking for donations of Disposable Diapers during the month of February. These will then be donated to the Crisis Shelter in Cloquet. The biggest need is for the larger sizes, 4,5, and 6’s, but any sizes will be appreciated. The cheaper brands will do just fine. Donations can be left off at the Co-op Store in Wright, or Bethlehem Lutheran Church in Wright. Thanks in advance for your donations.
Homecoming will be held on February 24th this year. The candidates chosen this year for King are Rich Franko, Tom Garske, Blaise Johnson, Russel Johnson and Jacob Olesiak. The Queen Candidates are Paige Hedin, Shayla Johnson, Ashley Korpela, Kylee Smith and Selena Smith.
The After School Program is sponsoring a Fundraiser this year to help make it possible to keep the After School Program open and running. They are selling paper light bulbs through the week of February 13th. These light bulbs will have the sponsor’s name on them and then be displayed in the hallway in the school during Homecoming. Some nights there are as many as 50 kids that stay after school for the ASP so funding is really appreciated.
ECFE Classes will resume in February at the school. The Ones and Twos class will start on February 14 at 11:00 - 12:30 for parents and their children ages 1 - 2 by September 1, 2005. Mixed ages Class will start on February 28th for parents and their children ages 3 - 5 years by September 1, 2005. Call Melinda Ferry at 644-3716 Ext. 4100 for more information.
Scott Thudin was welcomed as a new member to Bethlehem Lutheran Church on January 29th, 2006. Jillian M. Anderson was baptized at Bethlehem Lutheran Church on Sunday, January 29th, 2006. Her parents are Jesse and Jana Anderson and she has a brother Jacob.
Two area families have started a new 4-H Club in Wright. The Family Pride 4-H Club meets at the Bethlehem Lutheran Church on the 3rd Sunday of the month at 3 PM and is open to all area kids and their families. Steve and Kelly Risacher and Jeff and Theresa Suhonen have been the driving force in getting this new club up and running. They already have 25 members, 14 Clover Buds and 11 regular members.
